The problem
Much of steering an agent is typing predictable follow-ups: continue, verify, commit, explain.
The approach
After a response, Chat Suggest generates send-ready suggestions and displays one as dimmed ghost text. Tab accepts it, Up/Down previews alternatives, and Esc or typing dismisses them instantly. It preserves Pi’s built-in completion and existing custom editors, and uses Chat Summary context when available.
Privacy
Generation sends only the latest response, a compact summary, and the draft to the configured provider. Diagnostics never include that content.
