The problem
Ideas discovered during implementation are easy to lose, but automatically feeding every note back into an agent creates noise and unnecessary context cost.
The approach
Mind Queue stores thoughts at project scope and makes them available through a focused terminal overlay, commands, shortcuts, and an agent tool that only runs when explicitly requested.
Entries can be filtered, edited, focused, completed, restored, or moved back into Pi’s editor. Local file drops are stored as references rather than copied or read.
Reliability choices
The store uses process locking, restrictive file permissions, temporary files,
fsync, and atomic rename. Stale actions are rejected instead of overwriting
changes from another session.
That reliability work is deliberately concentrated in the shared storage path, rather than duplicated across each interface.
