The problem
Testing a service that talks to Kafka usually means a handful of command-line tools, each with its own flags, and no easy way to watch messages arrive while you send them.
The approach
MicroSuite is a local web app. Its Kafka studio connects to a cluster, including SASL and SSL setups, produces and consumes messages, and streams them into the browser over WebSockets as they arrive. Messages can be searched, filtered, and exported, and consumer groups can be managed from the same screen.
Status
Kafka is the only protocol so far. gRPC, GraphQL, and database testing are planned, so the interface is built to hold more than one kind of studio.
